GE Group is a Minnesota based Class A electrical and building contractor business. We provide electrical work, EV charger stations, and solar panel installation for both residential and commercial customers. We serve the whole metro and surrounding areas.
Generations of Electricity
GE Group’s History began in 1977 when Douglas Vickers, a master electrician, opted to serve the Twin Cities area. In 2020, his son Kevin Vickers revitalized the family business when he saw a gap in the local green energy market. He committed to filling it with the best service possible, gathering a diverse group of skilled technicians with over fifty years of combined industry experience. Together, they formed the Twin Cities’ premiere sustainable energy installer.
GE Group now specializes in green energy solutions for commercial and residential clients. Our performance, reliability, and integrity–combined with our dedicated customer service–provide enjoyable turn-key construction experiences for people throughout the area.
Our Master Electrician
Kevin Vickers was practically born and raised an electrician. His father, was a master electrician, and Kevin followed in his footsteps to pursue a trade school degree in the field. Since graduating nearly twenty-five years ago, Kevin has worked on all sorts of projects–big or small, he can do them all! Further, Kevin’s customers report that he can explain what each job will entail and why so that no one is ever left in the dark.

GE Group believes that everyone deserves basic comforts.
That’s why we participate in the local chapters of the following charity organizations:
Coats for Kids collects winter coats for children in need. We donate dozens of coats each year to keep kids warm!
Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children in need. GE Group has donated 50 blankets to date!
FMSC serves food to hungry children worldwide. GE Group makes a capital donation every year!
